Switching from another app?
Bring your layout along.

Already invested years in another model-train control program? You don't have to start from scratch. LocoLink imports your locomotives, addresses, function mappings and (where supported) your switchboard structure in seconds — so you can pick up exactly where you left off.

  • Locomotives + DCC addresses — names, addresses, F0–F31 function labels, all preserved.
  • Switchboard layouts — turnouts, signals and section blocks come across as editable elements (Pro).
  • Side-by-side preview — review every imported item before it lands in your library, no surprise overrides.
  • Works alongside your old setup — LocoLink doesn't touch the source files, so you can run both apps until you're ready.

Built by a model railroader,
for model railroaders.

I grew up with model trains. When I started running my layout digitally with a Roco Z21, I looked for an app that matched the experience I was used to on my phone and laptop. It didn't exist. Everything felt like it was built in a different era.

So I started building LocoLink — the app I wished existed. One that feels native on Apple devices. Approachable for someone running their first train, and deep enough for operators managing complex layouts with block systems and timetables.

LocoLink is shaped by real feedback from real model railroaders. Every feature was tested on real hardware, on real layouts. This isn't corporate software — it's built by people who run trains with it, nearly every day, purely out of passion for the hobby.
