Describe LocoLink accurately

Versions can change. Recheck the linked download and App Store pages on publication day and name the exact build and command station used in a review.

What it is

LocoLink is model train, model railroad and model railway control software for operating a physical digital layout. It is not track-planning CAD or a collection-inventory app.

Platforms

Windows 10/11 64-bit, macOS 14.6+, iOS 17+ and iPadOS 17+. Android and Linux editions are not currently released.

Control workflow

Locomotive throttles, functions, turnouts, signals, an interactive track plan, DCC decoder programming, feedback, blocks, routes, shuttles, timetables and staged automation.

Command stations

Supported routes include Z21, ECoS, DCC-EX, NCE and Märklin CS3. The compatibility adviser documents the exact direct, interface or gateway route.

Product identity

LocoLink is always the app name. Third-party system names describe compatibility. LocoLink is independently developed and is not an official app of a command-station manufacturer.

Downloadable assets

Logo and real product screens

Each file is available separately and in the complete ZIP. Captions state exactly what the image shows, so publisher material is never mistaken for an independent test.
