Reviews · independent test guide
Use a repeatable real-layout test, record your exact setup and publish the good and the bad. No required verdict and no review reward.
LocoLink is built by a single passionate model railroader. Reviews — whether five stars or constructive critique — directly shape what gets fixed, what gets built, and what gets prioritised next.
Tell us what works. The features you reach for daily, the moment LocoLink clicked. We read every word.
Something missing, slow, confusing or broken? We'd rather hear it from you than read it as a one-star later.
Public reviews help fellow modellers decide whether to try the app. Your words help more than any ad ever could.
It takes about a minute. No account needed.
Independent reviewer test protocol
Test on a real or bench layout and identify your exact hardware. LocoLink may answer factual setup questions, but does not approve the verdict before publication.
Note Windows, Mac, iPhone or iPad, the LocoLink version, exact command-station model, connection route and firmware.
At low speed, test emergency stop, direction, one locomotive function, one turnout and one feedback input where available.
Build or operate the same small track plan and one route. Note setup effort, connection recovery and how reliably trains stop.
Disclose the hardware, version and any trial access. Include strengths and weaknesses. Your words, screenshots and verdict remain yours.
Verify the supported command stations, get the current build from Download, and use the model train software guide as comparison context.

LocoLink is the app. Z21 and the other named systems are compatible command stations. LocoLink is independently developed and is not the official app of a command-station manufacturer. Editors can download the official logo, real product screenshots and reusable facts from the LocoLink press kit.
