What is the difference between a subscription and one-time?
A subscription always gives you the newest version: pay per month or per year and cancel any time. One-time Mobile includes every update, forever. One-time Desktop and Everything include every LocoLink 2 update; LocoLink 3 will be an upgrade of about 30%. Bought one-time before these plans? You keep every future update.
Can I try before I buy?
Absolutely. New users can try the complete Pro experience for the first 30 days, with no obligations and no automatic charge. After the trial you choose a plan to keep using paid features.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes, and what you already paid counts. Add phones and tablets to Desktop, add computers to Mobile, or move from LocoLink+ to Pro: you only pay the difference and your license code stays the same. A subscription switches straight away and the unused days of your old subscription are added. Enter your code under Already have a license? on this page.
Which devices does my license cover?
Mobile covers iPhone, iPad and Android: up to 5 phones or tablets with a code from this page, or every iPhone and iPad with your Apple ID when you buy in the App Store. Desktop covers Windows, Mac and Linux on up to 3 computers. Everything covers both. A license is per person: switch a device off in the app or in the customer portal any time.
How does a license code work?
After payment you receive a license code by email within seconds. In LocoLink, open the license screen, choose to enter a license code and paste it: everything unlocks. Need help? Email info@locolink.io any time.
Which command stations are supported?
Every command station listed by LocoLink is fully supported, including Z21, ECoS, DCC-EX, NCE Power Cab, NCE Power Pro and Märklin CS3. The compatibility adviser explains the direct, network, USB, serial, interface or gateway route for each system.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. After that, paid features are paused. Your data is preserved — nothing is deleted. Resubscribe at any time to regain access.
I already bought an older version. What happens?
Your purchase is honoured. Old Windows, Mac and Linux licenses now work on all three, on up to 3 computers, and one-time purchases keep every future update. Old Lite and Standard App Store purchases keep all the features you paid for.
