30-day money-back guarantee

Not happy with LocoLink for any reason? Email us within 30 days of your purchase and we'll refund you in full. No forms, no questions, no hassle.

This Refund Policy explains when and how you can get your money back. It supplements (and does not limit) any statutory rights you have as a consumer under EU law.

EU statutory cooling-off period

If you're a consumer in the European Union, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal after purchasing digital content. You can exercise this right by sending an unambiguous statement (e.g. an email) to info@locolink.io within 14 days of purchase. We'll refund the full amount within 14 days of receiving your request, using the same payment method.

By downloading or using LocoLink within those 14 days, you may waive your withdrawal right (this is standard for digital goods under EU consumer law). Don't worry — our 30-day guarantee below covers you anyway.

Our 30-day guarantee

Beyond the EU 14-day right, we voluntarily extend a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid LocoLink purchases. Within 30 days of your purchase date:

  • Email info@locolink.io from the address you used to buy.
  • Include your license key (or order ID).
  • You don't need to give a reason. We'll process your refund within 5 business days.

After the refund, your license will be revoked and the activation slots freed up. You won't be able to use Pro features until you re-purchase.

Subscriptions

Monthly and annual subscriptions:

  • Cancel anytime via the customer portal of the platform you bought through (App Store, Polar, or Mollie).
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you keep access until then.
  • We don't pro-rate refunds for partial periods, but the 30-day guarantee covers your first month if you change your mind.

Lifetime purchases

Lifetime purchases are eligible for full refund within the 30-day window described above. After 30 days:

  • The lifetime licence is non-refundable, except where mandated by law.
  • You can request device-deactivation at any time — for example if you no longer use the software, or want to free a slot for someone else. This does not refund money but releases the activation.
  • If LocoLink is discontinued before you've had the licence for 24 months, we will pro-rate a refund. We don't anticipate this scenario but mention it for transparency.

How to request a refund

Email info@locolink.io with:

  • The email address you used to purchase.
  • Your license key, or the order ID from your confirmation email.
  • Date of purchase (approximate is fine).

We aim to respond within 1 business day and process refunds within 5 business days. The refund returns to the original payment method (card, iDEAL, PayPal, etc.) — typically visible on your bank statement within 5–10 business days.

App Store purchases

Purchases made through the Apple App Store (iOS, iPadOS, macOS) are governed by Apple's refund policy and are processed by Apple, not Weto Media. To request an App Store refund:

  • Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
  • Select the LocoLink purchase
  • Choose "Request a refund"

Apple typically grants refunds within 14 days for any reasonable request. If Apple declines and you bought within our 30-day window, contact us — we may be able to help via a complimentary licence on a non-Apple platform as a goodwill gesture.

Chargebacks

If you have a problem with a purchase, please contact us first — we'll always try to make it right. Initiating a chargeback before contacting us costs both of us money and time, and may result in your licence being suspended pending investigation. Chargebacks are also taken into account when re-issuing licences.

What's not covered

Refunds are not generally available in the following cases:

  • Requests made after the 30-day window for lifetime purchases.
  • Cases where the licence has been shared, redistributed, or used in violation of our Terms of Service.
  • Subscription periods that have already passed.

If you're outside these scenarios but feel you have a legitimate concern, please email us anyway. We deal with refunds individually and we're reasonable people.
